It was late one August night in the big city and I was looking for an all night Colombian bakery to satisfy my need for a bunuelo. Unfortunately, all I found was a 24 hour Cheese'n Please Shoppe next to a lady in a cart doing pedicures. I am not a real cheese fan, and my toes are the kind that need to stay in their shoes so I headed down the street and satisfied my craving with a foot long dog covered with a lot of yellow condiments. As the dawn broke, I found myself with a belly ache in what appeared to be giant flea market, wondering exactly what had been in that dog, and if it was too early to be thinking about buying Christmas decorations.
