about this story
Sometimes I wake up with dreams of the outside world. The blur out of the car's front window as we whizzed down a forest path, the graffiti art people during the rebellion desperately tried to create to express themselves in a last hope of denial.
Then I remember where I am, the cold corridors with their tomb like walls, the tall gates keeping us in, the nature that we might catch a glimpse of, void of life. I am worker number 739 in Vali 670.
