about this story

Play Day was Jack's favourite! The best part was that this year play day fell on Jack's birthday. He loved to challenge his classmates to hula hoop contests and could hula for hours. All of his energy may have been a result of a sugar rush from the giant slice of birthday cake he had with lunch.

As the day came to an end, Jack began to grow sleepy from all of the excitement. As they travelled the long road back home, Jack dozed off into a birthday dreamland.
