One day, Martha Bean saw what she thought was a tarantula crawling up Jacob's arm. She screamed and that woke her up. It also woke up everyone in the house, so they decided to go to the lake for the day. After an enjoyable and relaxing day tossing stones into the water, they returned to their Victorian home in New York's East Side. Suddenly, everyone realized it was the end of autumn and spiders woudl soon disappear from the scene.
