about this story

I grew up in a rough part of town. I didn't really have any goals or ambitions other than working a minimum wage job as a janitor and doing other odds and ends projects. One day, while I was filling in for a friend on the night shift at the local college, I came across a classroom full of students analyzing classic literature. I sat in the back of the auditorium and listened to their conversations. I left the room with a renewed sense of life.
