about this story
The waves broke against the shore line. It created loud crashes that echoed across the beach. Near the shore stood a large castle. One that had been abandoned for many years. Although the land around it was farm land that grew food for many people all the land near the castle was dead. Nothing could grow nor sprout. The towers of the castle spun upwards casting shadows on the ground that seemed to walk closer to the town. The long tall shadows took away all heat even if you put your hands into a fire you could feel no heat. The Castle of the Plains also standing and always watching. Casting its shadows on the ground and chilling the bones of travelers. Always standing,always watching and never moving.
