about this story

when autumn began lost leaves fell to the dusty forest floor where I danced as a child. now I was running though I wasn't sure where.The world spun as I navigated through the trees lost,alone but free. I come to the road my heart thuds I don't recognise this stretch of land. the palm trees won't fall as gracefully as the forest of oak and willow in my namesake season, autumn. I come to the fence the sun is leaving,gone.I run back to the forest and fling myself into the first cave I see. I stay there shaking wondering which ways home.
