about this story

The ocean waves washed over the shore calmingly. I sighed and leaned back on my lounge chair, surrounded by my family. How much happier could this even get?
Driving into town later that night for groceries, my mom and I came to a "dead end" sign. Hmm, that's odd, I thought. My mom's directions had told her there was a grocery store here. Suddenly it got very stormy outside. The hills in the distance looked like snowy mountains, and the sky was a menacing gray. We decided to drive back to our beachhouse before the storm got too bad to drive in. On the way we passed a wall with red hands painted on it. I thought they looked scary, so as soon as we got back to our beachhouse I ran over to the many shelves of books and began to read.
