Time seems different since Ted left. I had taken to looking at dog pictures on my frig in the morning--not my dog--I don't even have a dog--just a way to pass time. The days pass like a hamster wheel. Going on and on but going nowhere. Finding entertainment in trashcan sports at work brings mild amusement. If the days are bad, the nights are worse--shortened by the winter and sudden darkness, it serves to remind me that after the dark the day begins again.
