It had just rained that morning and the sidewalk was shiny with puddles. My roses happily blossomed in the cool dew. I saw a bubble bee feverishly concentrating on nectar gathering. I didn't disturb it: I bet the pain of its sting would be as sharp as a shark's bite! Luckily I was safe from predators in the quiet refuge of my garden.
