The grey sky frowned unhappily down on humanity, casting dark shadows over the earth.
The forestry was destroyed, stumps being all of what was left.
It used to be lush and green, thriving, home to all animals. No longer.
Humans only wanted more.
More posh shoes,
More video games,
More... everything.
The problem was, the more they had, the more they wanted.
I looked around, my black feathers fluttering slightly as I hopped around the snow-covered building I called home.
I used to live in a nest...
Until they drove me out.
