The shadows were lurking around the house quietly yet it still didn't frighten Ivan at all. He was never really 'scared' of anything, but the dark figures on the walls still made shivers run down his spine. He slowly made his way down the hallway but a painting caught his eye. He stopped and observed the elegant piece of art. He reached his hand out to gently touch the graceful paint strokes. His fingers didn't get to feel the painting, it went threw the painting. Ivan jerked his arm out of the artwork and stood there in shock. Only one thought was present in his mind.

This was his chance to be free.
