Nothing could beat the appearance of Spring after a long, and dreadful Winter. Not even the looming rain clouds could put a damper on my parade (get it?).
The rain would only bring more fresh wild grass that was so thick and luscious that old iron doors could barely swing through it.
Spring meant the soon arrival of budding plants and trees, even berries. It was drawing closer to the day when you could take a bucket to pick and fill it with fresh raspberries.
In that moment, the cold, dreary days of Winter seemed like a far-off memory. Was it even real? How could one feel the -50 weather with sunbeams warming your cheeks?
Spring meant Summer would soon be here, and warm, sunny days were perfect for hiking and planning a picnic with the fresh raspberries.
