Nickie was really excited she had gotten excepted into a prestigious art school in San Francisco. She packed up her things and her dog Milo and left Kentucky for San Francisco. Once she got to her new apartment she saw that dogs were not allowed in the building. Nickie was really upset she was going to have to give Milo to an animal shelter which would be really had since he was her best friend. She decided to sneak him into her apartment so she could still keep him and not give him away. But one day Milo got out and went missing. For weeks Nickie put up fliers for Milo. One afternoon someone knocked on her door it was a little girl with Milo. She had found him and was returning him. The little girl had fallen in love with Milo for the short time she had him. Nicky made the hard decision to give Milo to the little girl. The girl was really happy and said Nickie could come visit Milo when ever she wanted to.
