Five Card Story: sonnet
a Five Card Flickr story by jordan diehl created Apr 02 2015, 02:24:11 pm. Create a new one!
about this story
there are no humans left in this great world
earth, just now returning to its first state
in dead city streets nature has unfurled
the earth can start fresh with a new, clean, slate
the footprints they left, the statues they made,
nature finds useless now that they are gone
through nature their treds have started to fade
breaking memories now left for no one
nature takes hold and the world will be pure
free from memories of human existence
time without humans is earths favorite cure
we didn't aknowlage earths resistance
earth isn't mad that they were not capable
sad: for they are no longer available
