The man with glasses was the one that was being driven to suicide. He was the man that had a dog named Chip. The dog went swimming in the Atlantic ocean off the coast of New York City. This black dog never came back to the mans presents. When he realized Chip was gone, he said "It wasn't that bad" as he looked off into the storm over the ocean. He jumped into the ocean while fully aware of the consequences. He became unconscious. Eventually the man woke on a beach. He knew it was far far away from NYC, and said "I know I'll never be going back." He turned around, then saw the sun setting through the trees and thought to himself "I don't want to kill myself, this place is much better."
