Nature is at its peak
like a butterfly landing on a leaf
or like a dog walking on the beach
oh yes nature is at its peak

Oh how I wish you could see
the tumbling tree in the leaves
the flashing lights in the street
oh yes nature is at its peak

nature is all around us;
though we fail to see
the beauty through the window,
glazing over the sea

the beauty is colorful
like the green on the leaves
like the wings on a fly
like the roots of a tree

the beauty is all around
like the lights blinking on the street
and the water slipping into the stream
oh yes, nature is at its peak.
