After world war three there is one community that survives in northern Indiana. They are only able to leave the community due to deadly radiation. Food and water are scarce, but they were able to grow farms to feed themselves. There was a local scrap yard that they were able to use to make wind mills for energy. As the radiation starts to dissipate like mist in the air, they can search for new homes or farm land. They are the last living people on earth, and survival of the human race depends on them. Life is different now but many may say there simple ways are bliss.
