about this story
I stand on the beach sometimes and just stare out at the stately waves. But every time I'm calmly taking in the beauty of the ocean, I wish I was walking in the snow and leaving dark footprints in the white. But as soon as I make the move to the snowy mountains of Canada, I wish I was in a garden state such as New Jersey, where I could catch butterflies in my hands after only being outside for three minutes. But soon I miss the rainy roads of my home state, Oregon, the curving roads stretching out for miles. Then I wish for the hilly fields of California's mountains, so I move there...
I guess what I'm trying to say is, never want want want for something other than your current situation, 'cause then you'll never be happy. Just be happy with what you've got.
