about this story
For too long we had been prisoners behind these walls. Slowly but surely we were gathering and hiding the supplies we would need to make our escape. Some of the group longed to go home to the cities where they once lived. Others wanted to escape and hide deep in the woods where they were sure they wouldn't be captured again. As Christmas is upon us, though we have no lights or decorations to celebrate, we will escape and celebrate our freedom!
