about this story

I sit staring at the wall clicking my tongue in time with the slow moving clock deeply thinking of home and what comes with it. I look around the room to see my friends and acquaintances doing the same thing. The fish in the tank on my boss's desk was swimming in cycles constantly slowing down till it completely stopped.
My young teenage daughter Grace confidently stood up and strides towards the stage were the profit manager had just stepped down from his speech and stood beside the microphone and locked eyes with me.
She was volunteering for the job opening on the second floor and was just one of the five other teenaged from her collage.
She started talking about how she could make costumers feel like the are on a beach while you can take care of their profits.
Everybody appalled as she sat down and started writing in her diary.
All I ever wanted was for her to be happy I don't know if she's reached that just yet.
