It was another frigid winter day, but I wasn’t going to let the cold stop me from get out and taking care of some errands I needed to accomplish. After getting bundled up, I warmed up the “spooky mobile,” and began my journey to the store. On the way to the store I got held up by an incident in the downtown area that delayed me getting to the store. Once the incident was cleared up and safe for me to pass emergency service personnel waved me by I was on my way again. I arrived at the store to pick up a few things for the family get together to put up Christmas lights and sing carols; it is my favorite time of the year and I am so excited to get back home and get everything ready. Unfortunately, I must have been too excited when I rushed into the store to buy some items. The reason I say this, is when I returned to my car I was graciously greeted by a parking enforcement official with a ticket since I forgot to put money into the meter. Although I got a ticket it didn’t bring down and I had taken longer than I expected, I kept my holiday spirit and I had a great night spending time with my family.
