about this story
We had thrown a party for the little kids next door, since their parents were at their own party and we wanted to make some babysitting money. We made pumpkin cupcakes and played lots of games involving candy. We also had a pool that you could bob for apples in. We brought coloring books and paper so they could draw halloween pictures. We also did a Cake-Walk. My friends and I gathered and tried to make the house look very Halloween-like, but also not scary since we were hosting little kids. Having said that, I love carving pumpkins and they tend to be a bit scary. But, I did end up making a cute pumpkin with glasses and a hat. He wasn't the least bit scary. Now, looking back, I realize that the party was very fun and tiring! The kids went crazy after all the candy they ate. They ran around and even knocked over a lamp shade. I will tell the parents tomorrow!
