Practicing trauma scenes don't help you understand the hardest part of the actual trauma, until you experience the real deal. A family was in a car crash resulting in a child's death. The life of the parents became plain, in slow motion, like nothing had meaning anymore. Time went on and their life stayed hopeless. Life is like the ocean, full of things we love. Life is also like the ocean because the tide pushes pretty things into our sight only to pull it back again and it disappears. Life never actually gives us anything, it only shows us how nice things are for a while and as soon as we start to become content with the things we have, life takes it, most of the time without warning.
