When I examine this first picture it takes me back to my childhood. My friends and I would play outside until dusk and being high up on this swing set made me feel like I was as high as the clouds in the sky. The amazing view from the airplane in the second picture is one that I often get to experience. I travel several weeks out of the month and I am always amazed at the view of the ground when we descend into the sky. I can close my eyes and picture exactly how I would feel if I were in that moment right now.
As I look into that window I imagine my family sitting at the dinner table enjoying a delicious meal of filet mignon and au gratin potatoes. This house is so cozy and warm and it is the perfect place to be in the snowy mountains of Colorado. Through my travels, I came across this magnificent bridge over the interstate. It is almost hard to believe that human hands were high up over the world creating such a sturdy, necessary path for us to get to our destination. We end up at the top of the hill in this cabin that is so minute compared to the surrounding structures. I take in a deep breath and realize how many beautiful pieces of creation that I have witnessed in just a short period of time.
