about this story

On a Sunday morning, Eli decided to go out and play in the woods that stood behind his home. It was sunny and peaceful, the birds high in the trees singing their sweet songs of the morning. Eli walked through branches, stomped on leaves that crunched beneath his feet, jumped from rock to rock, hopped off tree logs on his morning adventure. Off in the distance Eli spotted an unusual clearing. He ran over to it and hovered over the hole. Eli became very excited when he discovered a broken alien aircraft sitting in it. He slides off into the small opening and snatches it. This aircraft came from another galaxy and was roaming through space. It had discovered Earth and flew down into the atmosphere where the tiny alien pilot completely lost control. As the alien pilot struggled to control the plane he came flying down fast. The plane wounded up crashing into shrubs and created a clearing. This entire scene played out in Eli's head over and over as he bobbed the plane up and down into the air, twisting and twirling it creating swishing noises with his mouth. His mother called him in for breakfast from afar and he dropped the alien plane and ran off home.
