about this story
Thereś only two places that can clear my head when Iḿ upset, and I go there no matter the weather. Whether itś just a normal fall day, or a cold winter evening. I always go to one place before the other. I´ll always head to the dockside first, because when I sit on the edge of the dock and stare at everything and down into the water and I can explain why, or how but a lot of the time it clears my head. Maybe itś just the peacefulness or the smell of the ocean, I don know really but it works most of the time. And if the dockside doesn´t work then I´ll drive to the old railyard and sit on top of an empty building and just watch the beautiful scenery. If itś winter I can see the snow fill up between any empty spaces. Then I usually just walk to my car and look at the ground as I walk. At that point is when my mind is finally at peace.
