about this story
It was her first day of college and it was all going by in a blur. She was overwhelmed by the thought of college and all that it entailed. Finally she saw her dorm across the street and felt a rush of excitement and relief. She began to cross the street when suddenly she heard the deafening screech of car tires. She looked to her right and her whole world seemed to stop as she saw her entire future in one man. She ran over to his door to apologize "Nice set of wheels, I'm so sorry I should've looked before crossing the street." He looked deep into her eyes and he said, "Well that's quite alight, you look a little overwhelmed, I'll park my car and help you with those bags." She crossed the street and stood awaiting his arrival. She was beginning to lose hope when she saw him round the corner holding a bundle of small white flowers. "Sorry I'm late, I was busy picking these. It was hard to decide because their beauty hardly compares to yours."
