Great Adventure
It was a very cold December night, negative 6 degrees without a wind chill. Everyone's heat was working extra hard and even space heaters were working nonstop. Not everyone knows that space heaters even need a break after running for so long. One night a heater was to close to a curtain and a fire started while the owner was at work but his dog was still inside, knowing that something was wrong made a mad dash towards the dog door ran outside away from danger. About 5 min later the house went up into flames and the fire department was on the scene trying to put it out but it was to late late the house was already gone. It was a very lonely night for Hank the pug as he was wandering the quiet streets alone and with nowhere to go he slept on a hiking trail. The next morning Hank was woken up by construction workers nearby , hank went over to the loud banging and was suddenly picked up by familiar hands it was his owner that was looking all night for him.
