about this story

When one walks outside after a storm they
will know it is as wet as an otter.
Like a child in the dark the curiosity
of one after the storm to knock on a door
is unending.
When running like the wind down an ally from
certain doom, one must remember why they never look
through an unlocked door and the atrocity.
In a forest it ends.
By a lake one joins the countless in the next land.
A highway with hundreds of cars every
minute head to a light.
One is warmed by the light,
like a mother to her child.
Finally one sees a beach and an ocean.
A place of no worries, of no pain.
A place of eternal rest.
