about this story

As Prince turned the corner in his Little Red Corvette, you could hear his tires screeching on the asphalt. Ever since he started making music, his life has been great. But now he was old and frail. He had one last wish. To see the place behind the sign. He has live in Minneapolis nearly all his life. He has been everywhere, but the place behind the sign. The sign said no tresspassing, but he just had to know. He climbed over the old chain link fence, which made him feel young again. The climb was painful, but worth it. Once he was over, he start walking down the narrow alleyway while running his hand across the brick wall to his right. When he finally got to the end, he was astonished. A wide, private lake was shimmering in the sunlight. He sat down in the sand by the water, and smiled. His life had been fulfilled. Later that week, he died. He will be missed greatly by all.
