As dawn was breaking on a gorgeous fall morning, I set out to meet the school bus. On the way, I walked past Newbridge Cemetary as I did every morning. Only this time, something was different. I saw a flurry of police action and was approached by a grey haired officer with a handlebar mustache. He said, "Stop! You're under arrest for vandalizing Newbridge Cemetary!" The officer then proceeded to place handcuffs on my wrists and drove me downtown to the local police station. After two hours of grueling interrogations, I was allowed to leave and finally made my way to Middlestone Junior High. What a way to start a school day!
