What kind of nightmare is this? What started as a happy vacation has turned into the end of the world. You and your best friend tried the best you could to protect yourselves in the rental home, but it didn't work. You were awakened by the sounds of the dead breaking in. You both try to fight them off, but in the end, you're the only one left standing.
You decide you need to get away; you can't stay in this house anymore. It's not safe and you can't stand the reality of what just happened. You walk around this foreign town thinking to yourself, you've never seen a place look so empty, so desolate. Every street and every alleyway is empty. What are you going to do? With each step you take, your hopelessness rises. No family and no idea where to go.
Finally, you come across a church. It's not boarded up and it sounds like people are talking inside. Is this a place of refuge or a suspicious trap? It's so hard to believe in anything, much less any good.
You finally get enough courage to open the door and... GASP.
