The only thing that wasn't awesome about that moonlit bus ride is that Baxter and Charlie couldn't come too. I'll come back for you guys, I promise. One of these days I'll have a car, or at very least a friend in town with a car, and we'll make the trip with you guys sprawled and slobbering on the back seat.
For now, it's a weird loft space with big dusty windows. Not a squat, we pay rent, but probably not exactly legal either. Most of the guys were in a band and moved down from Greencombe all together. There's this one girl Mary who makes masks and costumes. She did some creepy sort of owl-penguin bird suits for a bunch of so-called anarchists who crash the 4th of July parade every year. They aren't doing it this year though because security is at paranoid level.
Meanwhile I'm not making much money, I'm working as a cleaner, but I like walking to work in the mornings through the city streets and I promise I'll come get you two big guys as soon as I possibly can.
