As I awoke that morning, I could still feel the rage and frustration from the previous afternoon. I wanted to yell and scream at the world. "TODAY MIGHT BE THE DAY! I may even take a bite today!" I was struggling with the injustice that had come my way ... again. Stay away from me. I want to take that bite. Instead I took what seemed to be a long, cold walk into the beginning of my day. The writing had been on the wall. I shouldn't have been celebrating a victory when the season was still so young. Now I was left with the reality of facing 10 year old children asking me the one question I couldn't avoid. "Did you see the game?" Today could be that day. Today could be THAT day. I might just walk out of the room ... and keep going.
