about this story
It was the last day of my vacation and I stood melancholy beside the waters. A wonderful lake vacation was about to come to a dramatic end.
As I looked at the town, reflected just north of me, I began to think about home and the numerous things I had to do. Tomorrow morning I'd row back across the lake and back to my tattered apartment.
There it is, that funny little window that looks like something out of the Munsters, but I love it. Home sweet Home.
AHHHHHH! Scream, scream, oh scream! There's a gigantic spider standing sentry at my front door. I can't go in. He is so ugly and hairy, someone help me!
Stan, good ol' Stan came to my rescue. He took a broom and swept the spider into the sewer. I was relieved until I wondered if they can crawl up a toilet...
