One day there was a storm in the mountains and nobody thought anybody was near there. But ... there was a girl named Nicole. She lived there with her family and had lots of animals. Especially horses! Her favorite horse was named Elmer. There was also a long path that led to a river. Nicole lived in a small house. It was earthen brown in color. There was a window that look over the path along the river. Nicole only had to go to school one day a week because of the dangerous travel along the path. And Nicole liked it that way.
