about this story
As I walked up to th old iron casket door of my nan's I knew it was going to be the last. I saw her familiar smile perch her old tired face as she told me there was my favourite meal waiting for me inside. After saying my goodbyes and talking about the moments we shared I walked around the city which was my home. I saw the winter boot my lads and I threw on the wire on corner sreet after our graduation. I climbed the wall of the old abandoned apartments, as I reached the roof I saw a view that brought back millions of moments, inside jokes, laughs, crys, joy, and over all my moments that I will always remember. Finally looking back on the city that looks so peaceful from up here I know it's time to go.
