"Stay in the lines!" signs demand as if dead ends don't exist within their very confines. Don't attract their own danger.
Why else do we build fences? To keep others out? Or, to keep something worse in?
Faerie circles were not to be trespassed because, doing so, incited devilry. Sometimes, lines are drawn to forbid entrance instead of escape.
Always to tempt, though, huh?
The line where the earth kisses the sky a seduction most wicked.
