The town was fairly large, with the majority of it being industrial buildings. However, with the only available work being manual labor in the factories (with more being built every day) citizens became dissatisfied and would eventually arrange for family members to pick them up over the phone. These people would leave the town with their few belongings, often riding for miles with whoever picked them up until they finally reached somewhere more satisfactory, usually somewhere warmer.
