It was a chilly friday night in the suburbs of Chicago. As I drunkenly approach the party in which I was not invited to, I see a myriad of lights and a festoon of color. I glance to my right where one bird sits peacefully in the stagnant Lake Michigan. Almost simultaneously I hear the bells of a nearby church. I continue my path to the party only to see a sign saying " No Trespassing." I dismissed this sign and continued walking. Although I was very drunk, I all of a sudden came to my senses. This not just another party that I'm attending, it is my father's funeral.
