about this story

Rick is a devoted husband and father who supports for his family and loves his job. Rick is a Civil Engineer and works in a little warehouse downtown. Now everyday he rides his bike to work because he loves close enough, loves to save money, and loves to bike except when it rains or snows. His daily commute is roughly about 30 minutes and leaves home early to be there on time. Everyday he passes the same buildings and even locks his bike on the same pole. Now today wasn't a regular day today was Tommy's birthday,Rick's son, and he was turning 10 today. So instead of working on his regular projects he decided to build him a a new bike. This bike is to get Tommy out of the house and go for bike rides with his dad. So when Rick gets home with the bike completed, now Rick couldn't ride his bike home because he wouldn't be able to take Tommy's bike home so his coworker gave him a ride in his truck to bring both bikes home. Anyway, Rick calls Tommy out to show him his new bike, he comes out and loves it and says," It's awesome dad thanks." now this mad Rick happy but, when the moment died down Tommy starts wheeling the bike into the house and brings it to his room. Rick follows him and asks him," What are you doing with the bike," Tommy replied," I'm trying to find a perfect spot to hang it on the wall." Rick thought to himself that he meant for his son to go and ride it not hang it up but, he didn't want to say anything because it was his birthday present. Rick ended up getting some nails and a hammer to hang this bike up. Rick was a little sad but was happy that Tommy had a great birthday and was happy with his gift.
