The day started out to be fairly normal. The sun was shining so we took a walk in the woods. My brother felt something weird in his sock. "Hurry, we have to get home," he said. When we got back home we had him lay down and we pulled and pulled to get his sock off. It seemed stuck. Finally it came off and he blew out a huge breath like he was blowing a dandelion. Then we all proceeded to screamed because out of his sock crawled a snake. We trapped it in a pillow case and ran to the nature preserve in our town. We were able to put it in a sack on the wall and called the extension for help. The ranger came and retrieved the snake. Now that was one day that started ordinary, but turned out to be far from it.
