Five Card Story: Section 31

Abby stood at the entrance to Section 31 and placed her hand in a shape that Vulcans knew well. Each finger touched at specific spot on the brick wall. After a moment the wall shimmered and disappeared revealing a small room with white walls and various drawings and writings on the walls. Abby zeroed in on a marking that looked like a woman running with a short note above the character. Her brows raised at the message and she pushed the green dot next to the script. This wall, too, shimmered and disappeared. Abby walked purposefully down the revealed hallway, but a figure in a hoodie checked her passage and seemed to approve her appearance there. When Abby reached the end of the hallway, the hooded figure handed her a three dimensional card with an address on it. She understood. Her contact would meet her there. When she arrived at the address, she scanned the room for clues as to who her contact was. He found her, instead, and handed her an old piece of real paper, the kind that was not found often anymore, and began to outline her mission to her. She sighed. It was going to be on the *Enterprise*, and she was not looking forward to it.
