Every teacher eventually takes their class on the dreaded field trip. Mrs. Danby was not the exception. She took her class on a trip to see the great empty log. The kids were insane! Mrs. Danby was at her whits end when she saw a sign in the distance. It was a sign for coffee. Nectar of the gods! Better than mayonnaise!! Acting like a total drill sergeant, she marched the kids to the coffee stand. They waited outside in the cold while she went in to refuel. After one sip, she was on top of the world. It must have been high octane coffee because the next thing Mrs. Danby could remember, she was home. She didn't have any messages, texts, or email from parents so she assumed the kids all made it home safe.
