I decided to not ride my bike because it was too dangerous to ride in the city. So I found a walking sign, and went exploring. A lizard with small spikes and blistery skin surprised me in the early morning light, but didn't attempt to bite me. It was probably on a morning walk looking for breakfast. I wonder what it eats. Then I saw my favorite reptile hopping up a tree, pretty well camouflaged with its splotches of pale green. Fortunately I had my eyes wide open. At my feet I found a small snake! It was not scary looking at all, with black dots and stripes in between. It tickled my hand as I held it in my palms.
