Kyra passes the time away from her family by reading books, she get's her books from Patrick in the Ironton Country Mobile outside of the fence in which they live. Since reading books other than the Bible is considered sinful, she would read books away from everybody, in nature and especially in her tree. All these rules are set up from the Prophet in which he lives in luxury while everyone else lives in poverty. Due to these restrictions, Kyra is wanting to kill the Prophet.
