The first one is of a little kid to show that our main character is young and can't make her own choices. The second one shows that a tree that she likes to go to is her safe place. The third one is the fence because it shows that she feels trapped in her life. The fourth one is of the writing because she has thoughts in her head and can't let them out. The fifth one is showing a deer for freedom.
