The topic chosen for my professional development was DBI, or Document Based Inquiry.I chose this topic because I liked how all of the DBI pieces acted as puzzle pieces to lead the participants to the main idea. I organized and planned my DBI by beginning with the main idea (what did I want my participants to learn), and worked my way backwards in the organization of the different DBI pieces. Prior to delivering my DBI Professional Development. I was incredibly nervous. A conflict I encountered during the delivery of my Professional Development was time..my DBI was not as long as it needed to be. After delivering my Professional Development, I felt much calmer. I received several different feedback comments, all of which were delivered in a positive way.
