about this story

In my English class we are learning about the Holocaust. The picture above connects with this topic as the dumpster is shown as something dirty and filthy. While to Jews were being persecuted to concentration camps as the atmosphere was similar to the photo in a feeling of unfriendly, filthy, and dirty. The second picture is also a connection as the sign shows abuse and destruction. During the period of long time Jews were abused by Germans even when they didn't do anything wrong. Lastly, the last photo is only black and white. As Jews were held captive for most of their lives that's how they saw their life black and white as their faith of one day getting out slowly diminishing everyday.
